If your classes leak, you will know who they came from.
Every student sees their identity in the class and links expire within minutes. When someone stops studying and starts downloading the syllabus, we let you know.
30-day trial, no card. First we show you a demo with your own case.
Every student sees their identity on screen
You choose what to show: name, student number, email or any other data already in Moodle.
If someone tries to hide it, the class pauses and the event is recorded. You can also make a downloaded copy keep the identification.
Links expire and cannot be shared
Each link lasts a short time and only works for the person who has access to that class. Copying it into a group does not open the syllabus to anyone else.
Impronta distinguishes watching a class from trying to download many classes at once.
You can receive an alert with the student and class involved, or stop playback automatically.
Automatic subtitles, no manual transcription
Upload the class and subtitles are ready automatically. Students can turn them on when needed.
They help students study without sound, search for a phrase and make classes more accessible. If you need other languages, we can discuss it.
See who watches what, and how far
Minutes watched per student and class, who finished and where people drop out. Spot students falling behind and know which lesson needs recording again.
Your material remains yours
You can store videos in your own storage account (paid option) to keep direct control.
By default we store them for you, and you can take them with you at any time in the same format you uploaded.

How it works with your campus
1
Upload the class
The video is processed, transcribed and ready on any device. You do nothing else.
2
Link it in the course
It appears as another resource alongside notes and assignments. Enrolled students see it; everyone else does not.
3
The student clicks and is in
No registration, new password or manual account. Their campus session is enough. The video starts with their identity on screen.
4
Progress returns to the course
Minutes watched are recorded in Moodle and in this dashboard for class-level detail.
No campus, or students outside it? They can also enter directly with email and password. See the Moodle integration.
What does a leak cost you?
Estimated loss: 6,000 € a year.Basic is €79/month (€948 over twelve monthly payments).
Who is behind Impronta?
I am Daniel Márquez, a software developer. I build and maintain Impronta directly and work with each academy on the Moodle integration using its real case.
Watched hours are what students watch, not what you upload. All prices exclude VAT. The student estimate assumes about 11 watched hours per student per month; it is guidance, not an enrolment limit.
No. DRM makes saving the file harder but does not prevent screen recording. Impronta protects in another way: it identifies the student in the class, checks access continuously and records who watched it.
Can I use student data in the watermark? What about GDPR?
There is no single legal answer for every academy. Start from your context: inform students, choose the minimum mark you need and avoid unnecessary fields; name and ID are only examples.
Where possible, records use internal codes instead of displaying personal data. Your academy must decide the legal basis with its adviser or data protection officer; this is not legal advice.
The academy chooses what to show: for example name, student number, email or its own Moodle identifier. The mark appears throughout playback.
Optionally, identity can also be recorded in parts of a downloaded copy. It costs €19/month in Basic, €59/month in Professional and is quoted for Academy.
You choose between an alert without interrupting the class or stopping suspicious playback. The interruption affects that attempt and does not automatically block all of the student's sessions.
The trial lasts 30 days and requires no card; after that, plans start at €79/month. To prepare a demo for your case we ask for the academy, email, number of students, syllabus hours and platform.
Tell us about your academy and we will prepare a demo with a similar case. Then you can try Impronta for 30 days without a card. We reply within one business day.
